This is the second SweetNight Dreamy Hybrid Mattress I've bought this year, the last one was bought on the Independence Day holiday this year.
Why did you buy it again?
I bought the first one when I was building a new room for my daughter, and I took advantage of the Independence Day event to place an order. This time I wanted a new mattress for my own bed, so naturally I thought of this one, and I was more than satisfied with the 1.8m wide one of the same model, which was also over $500.
This purchase, except for the gift actually need to choose their own specifications, not bound to the king size memory foam mattress, panic and get it wrong after asking customer service to change actually did not work, everything is perfect.
So why buy it in the first place?
It's a pain in the ass to choose a mattress, everyone says you spend 1/3 of your life in bed, so buy a good bed - but it's actually time spent on the mattress.
The price of a mattress is outrageous at first hearing. Like mobile phones, there are those that cost several hundred dollars, and those that have several zeros after the price that you can't count.
So when it came to choosing a mattress, it was a case of flicking through some of the articles on the internet, especially the ones on mattress removal.
The general decision making process
There are two main categories of mattresses, those with metal support springs and those without.
The ones without metal support include pure latex and pure coir, super flexible and super inflexible. I didn't dare to choose either of these because they were too extreme in tone and if I didn't get used to them, I would have wasted my money. So I opted for a regular mattress with innerspring support, which is similar in structure to my old mattress.
There are two types of innerspring mattresses: full mesh and independent.

The main support material for a full mesh mattress is something called a Bonnier spring. It looks like a lot of spring structure interspersed between two wire nets, and the internal details, with the manufacturers' technical iterations, have many small differences, but the overall structure remains the same, like Oreo, with a white elastic medium in the middle and a black steel mesh structure on both sides.
So it's particularly evenly supported, providing the right amount of elastomeric feel, but its most important feature is that it "shakes with you": basically, when one point is under pressure, the whole bed shakes with it.
The advantage of the solo pocket spring is where the disadvantage of the whole web spring lies: a large number of independent springs form an array to support the bed, and the expansion and contraction of each spring does not affect the others, so many people online put a red wine bungee mattress is mostly this type of structure.
One of the disadvantages of a single pocket spring mattress is that most of the springs are made of non-woven bags, and non-woven fabric, which is a particularly weatherable material, will explain itself as an unorganised and undisciplined powder structure after a few years, so, for health reasons, if your single pocket spring mattress is used in many places where you can hear the sound of creaking springs, consider the age of the product and you may need to This is because spring friction means that the protective non-woven pocket is broken, either because there is frequent movement at this point due to impact or, more often, because the entire non-woven is becoming chalked up and is no longer effective as a barrier.
I myself used to use a whole web spring mattress, so when I choose a new mattress, I intend to be fresh and buy a solo pocket spring mattress to experience a non-disturbing sleep experience. There was also the option of a pure latex mattress, but I couldn't be sure how much density was right for me, so I didn't go for pure latex.
One obvious parameter is the number of zones. Some say 5 zones, some say 7. Well, in the case of the pad I currently have on hand, it's 5 zones, but I rolled it across one zone after another and didn't feel any difference.
I guess if there is a significant difference between each partition, then if there is a 20cm difference in height between people lying on the same bed, one of them is bound to feel a pinch somewhere.
So, I was right to leave the number of zones alone.
Product experience
SweetNight's mattresses are available in two ranges, with the following differences.
The one I chose is the cheapest Mori Sleep model, which is also the one that a certain big brother in the station has taken apart and seen and photographed.
The SweetNight mattress came in an oversized bag, made of waterproof material. After removing the bag, you can see an oversized plastic bag covering the mattress, and a paper shell protecting the four corners.
This SweetNight mattress is called the AB side mattress.
The two sides do feel different, one is firmer (still softer than my old mattress) and the surface is made of a material often seen in products such as ergonomic chairs or breathable car cushions.
This material has thick holes on the surface and thin filaments inside for support. I was worried about food residue and other things falling in and not getting out ...... but since small particles can get in, it must be breathable.
This side is the harder side, underneath the "cushion fabric" on the surface, it's almost like a spring. (It's okay, you can't feel it, your fingers are only pressing to compare the hardness with the other side)
The other side, which is different in terms of shape, has a suspended surface, as if another layer of mattress has been added to the mattress.
This gives the mattress an overall thickness of 27cm and I think my cot will look just like a hot drink filled with milk froth with this mattress on it.
Well, at least it's a hot drink and it looks warm.
And the surface material installation manufacturer describes it as some kind of skin-friendly material, and it does feel comfortable when you touch it with your hands, it has a down feel but doesn't look like a flocked fabric. The interior is said to have a latex layer, which greatly improves the feel.
According to the manufacturer, this mattress can be slept on "naked", but seeing as the mattress in the living room is already being tossed around with so much dust and dirt on the surface, I can't imagine that I would be afraid to sleep on this mattress after a period of time.
Well, maybe I can learn from the rich people who sleep on the front side for a winter and the back side for a summer and change it for a new one the next year?
Wake up, rich people who buy $10,000 mattresses!
Conclusion
I'm not going to jump up and down to make a motion picture of a single pocket spring mattress, the basic qualities are still there.
That sums up on the downside: this mattress has a smell. I had the mattress in June, put it indoors to blow (that's the daughter's room that hasn't been opened until now), and when I went to check it in the meantime, it was basically odourless.

How did you say you checked it? Check it like this.
The smell of this new mattress is not as strong as the first one that came back in the summer, but when I lie on it or use the method I just used to check it, there is still a noticeable smell, so at the moment it can only be left to dry in the living room, and now the temperature is low, drying up is very inefficient: there is no smell in the room, but the pad smells, and it feels like it will be a little slow to dissipate the smell.
